With an investment of 136 million pesos, the real estate group Cactus Valley presented the project for an industrial park located in Parras de la Fuente. The industrial park would serve as a strategic point to unite the automotive industry of the Southeast Region (Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe, and Arteaga) with the Laguna Region (Torreón and Gómez Palacio).

The project consists of the construction of the industrial park, which will have an investment of 98 million pesos, and the Mammoth Museum's start-up, to which 38 million pesos will be allocated for the opening. The generation of 1,000 new jobs is foreseen.

The industrial park intends to develop light and world-class industry, always taking care not to damage the essence of the "magical town." They plan to implement a mixed soil, have a minimum water consumption in the 40 hectares of construction, and using renewable energies such as wind and solar. In addition, it will have the novelty of having type "A" buildings, a characteristic of Industry 4.0 in communication, information, measurement, and control.

According to Cactus Valley, this development has a 360-degree logistics connectivity: to the Port of Mazatlan (on the Pacific); to the port of Tampico (Gulf of Mexico); to Eagle Pass (on the northern border) and Mexico City (in the center of the country), facilitating the installation of global companies.

At the moment, there are five companies in the automotive sector interested in settling in this new complex. Some of the companies located in the Southeast Region intend to expand their operations in the state, and the ease in the logistics with the city of Parras would be an important factor for such movement.

Ramiro Perez, mayor of Parras de la Fuente, said he expects this project to integrate the cultural, commercial, and industrial aspects and consolidate the development that the municipality merits.
