Daimay opens its second plant in Coahuila; They announce a new investment of 30 million dollars

Daimay Automotive Interior maintains its commitment to growth and development in Coahuila , by opening its second plant and laying the first stone of its DAIMAY Campus .

Faced with the global economic crisis, the Chinese company is betting on the good results it has had in the state, so it decided to establish production plants in the FINSA Industrial Park in Ramos Arizpe .

This company is a leading automotive supplier of car interior visors, headrests and armrests . Its second plant had an investment of 86 million dollars , which will generate 1,000 jobs .

In the laying of the first stone of what will be the DAIMAY Campus , they announced an amount of 30 million dollars  for the construction of this project, which consists of a factory and a training center, this latest development is halted due to the health contingency due to the Covid-19 , but it is planned to be carried out by the end of 2021. It will have an area of 31,000 m2 and in its final stage, they hope to offer another 1,000 jobs .

"The third plant not only represents the increase in production of headers, it will also represent stability for 1,000 workers who, having a job, will contribute to the economic recovery of the region," said Víctor Villarreal, regional manager of Daimay plants in Mexico.

Present at the event were: Miguel Riquelme, governor of the state of Coahuila; José María Morales, municipal president of Ramos Arizpe and Jaime Guerra, secretary of economy in Coahuila.
