By Alan Gutiérrez

Eaton inaugurated a plant in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua: Eaton ICD Frontera , which is located in the Lote Bravo neighborhood. For this new facility, the company allocated an investment of 4.1 million dollars and will generate around 210 jobs.

According to Rodolfo Vázquez, Undersecretary of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE), this plant is a new division in the city and is world class.

Eaton's new operation will create more than 1,500 direct jobs in the city.

"The Government has pushed for corporations and different companies located in the state to bring more infrastructure and world-class technology processes," said Vázquez.

This new Eaton plant joins the two more that already exist in Juárez in the Omega Industrial Park.

Eaton, a world leader in electrical product technology, manufactures electrical transformers and electrical equipment, multiple fuses, from automotive to marine.

Finally, Vázquez said that these types of plants are the ones that the government of the state of Chihuahua seeks to bring, since it seeks world-class companies and that companies that settle in the state bring infrastructure and advanced technological processes.
