Eberspächer Opens Manufacturing Plant in Coahuila; invest 25 million dollars

Eberspächer inaugurated its first manufacturing plant in Mexico , for which it invested 25 million dollars . Here they will produce exhaust systems for commercial and passenger vehicles .

The German company chose to settle in the Santa María Industrial Park , which is located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. Eberspächer's objective is to supply supply to Daimler Trucks , which is its main customer.

This is the first plant in the country and the sixth in Latin America, it has a land area of 21,000 square meters and will generate around 500 jobs  at the beginning of its operations. 

Thomas Waldhier, operations director of the exhaust technologies division, commented that Mexico and Germany have many things in common such as “the love for soccer and the competitiveness to produce in the automotive sector. I remember that they beat us in the last World Cup, but we came here to empower our company and create jobs ”. 

He added that the new plant in Mexico strengthens its North American production network. In addition, it allows direct and fast supply to your customers on the site.

According to the company, the plant in Mexico is designed for sustainable growth over the next few years.

Eberspächer  worldwide employs more than 10,000 people and generates 5 billion euros a year.
