Fanuc begins the construction of its new plant in Aguascalientes

With an investment of eight million dollars , Fanuc México laid the first stone of its new operations center in Aguascalientes . 

The construction will have an assembly area, offices, a showroom  to expose  the novelties in robots that will be a national benchmark, as well as a manufacturing floor and warehouses.

Starting next year, from the new location of the company that will be on Boulevard Siglo XXI Poniente, it will continue with the projection of its high quality standards for clients and partners in Mexico and Central America.

Enrique Estrada, general manager of Fanuc México, pointed out that the new facilities occupy an area of 60,000 square meters and are currently global leaders in industrial automation, with a presence in more than 100 countries and have installed more than 25 million products.

With this growth, the Japanese capital company expands its offer and industrial automation services such as robots and numerical control systems to the companies of the entity and the region, in addition they will strengthen the industrial environment in the Bajío area that continues to promote the arrival of companies that favor technological development.

During his speech, Enrique Estrada highlighted that after more than 23 years of presence in Mexico, the international firm continues to place its trust in the state because it is a consolidated, competitive region with great human capital.

For his part, Martín Orozco Sandoval, governor of the state, said that Fanuc México's range of products allows improving the manufacturing processes of companies of multiple lines, among which the food and industrial sectors stand out. 

Finally, Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, Secretary of Economic Development of Aguascalientes, said that the company's initiative to assemble robots in Aguascalientes will bring the automation process closer to the industry.
