Aiming to form an integrated operating system for product research, development, and manufacturing in America, Hisense , one of the world's largest appliance manufacturing companies, announced today that it will be established in the municipality of Salinas Victoria.

The Chinese company announced that it will invest 260 million dollars . In the first stage of production, said Yue Ma, director of property management of the Hisense group, approximately 1,000 jobs will be created ; Once all of their operations are consolidated, they have the potential to reach up to 7,000 new jobs in total within the next five years.

"The Hisense Mexico Smart Appliances Industrial Park has an area of 252,600 square meters ; and the factory will mainly produce refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens and air conditioning. Its production will be for Mexico, the United States, and Canada, " said the director. .

In this sense, he informed that Hisense plans to invest in the construction of an Industrial Park of Smart Appliances in Mexico since it is an important part of the group's global strategic development plan; with the aim of shortening the production cycle, reducing logistics, and reducing transportation time .

Its plans include both developing the local Nuevo León supply as well as bringing in its suppliers from China. "We are fully convinced that the investment project of the Hisense Mexico Smart Appliances Industrial Park will be a success (...) with all the support of our friends and future suppliers," said Yue Ma.

Among the attractions of the region for the installation of the foreign company, said Roberto Russildi, secretary of economy and labor of Nuevo León, are the statistics on worker productivity , the value chain that the entity has, and the strength in the logistics offered by the state, with its easy access to the United States, Central and South America .

In this regard, Yue Ma highlighted that “we are currently forming a first-rate work team that will be part of the Hisense team in Mexico; and it will help make the Hisense production facility a success. "

Finally, he reiterated his commitment to ensure that the construction and installation concludes in the agreed times. "We are sure that we are reaching the right place to grow together," he concluded.
