Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, Governor of Jalisco, commented that the entity is laying the foundations to become the main engine for the Mexican economy. And in the last year, it was positioned as the second place in the recovery of jobs throughout the country, in addition to having doubled foreign direct investment compared to the previous year.

"In the first quarter of the year, and although we don't have a border with the United States, we have very important numbers in exports, and we believe that very positive times are coming for Jalisco and we are very pleased that Jabil is part of that," he said.

Given these two new investments, the president celebrated the confidence that Jabil and Intel have in Jalisco, for which he highlighted the importance of relaunching the economy after the health contingency. In addition, with these new projects, a work route  will be made for the recruitment issue with the support of local universities.

In this meeting, the Governor of Jalisco was accompanied by the coordinator of the Council of Industrial Chambers of Jalisco (CCIJ), César Castro Rodríguez and Xavier Orendain De Obeso, General Strategic Coordinator for Economic Development , who was satisfied with the first meeting and the perception and confidence in Jalisco in the United States.
