“Puebla is one of the best places for this, we have one more thing that I want to add, if you want to manufacture vehicles for sustainable production, you have to be sustainable in everything, that is, in the way of manufacturing and Puebla offers one of the best places to do this, which is Ciudad Modelo”, he commented.

PRODUCTION STAGES

“We have a phase two and a phase three that are planned for three and five years , but we believe that with the dynamics of the market it can be done much faster; the idea is to produce up to 10,000 vehicles a year”.

De la Vega highlighted that the estimate of vehicles that are susceptible to replacement with the current technology of internal combustion to electric mobility in the continent is 148 million units.

"Our production plant is going to have a lot of people for whom it will be their first job opportunity."

For her part, Olivia Salomón, head of the Ministry of Economy , confirmed that at the same time that the company will be installed, it will start a recruitment program, as well as training with young people who graduated from the technological universities of the San José Chiapa region. , Lara Grajales and municipalities surrounding Ciudad Modelo. In addition to offering vacancies to people who live in this region.

Finally, Governor Miguel Barbosa said that with this plant there will be a great economic benefit for the entity and that it will trigger a new electromobility industry in Puebla.

“This investment is necessary to reactivate the territory after two years of the pandemic. It will be the door for more investments to arrive. This tells us that a whole revolution of things is coming and that it is good that this plant is anchored in Puebla because many things will come from this plant, an economy will be deployed,” he concluded.
