Coahuila continues with its consolidation as one of the entities with the highest investment attraction at the national level and the generation of jobs.

Due to the opportunities it offers for the development of the manufacturing industry , companies of the same type classify the state as one of the most competitive in the country.

In this context, Magneti Marelli began operations at its Ramos Arizpe plant in the Santa María Industrial Park , where it will produce throttle body components for the automotive sector.

In this project, the brand invested 17 million dollars, which will help generate 250 new jobs for the inhabitants of the area.

In his speech, Humberto López, general manager of the company, said that the staff they have will help them to be the best company in the world within two years. He stressed that his collaborators are the most important thing and predicted an important growth of the firm in the market.

Likewise, Luis Delabra, Powertrain Mexico Magneti Mirelli human resources manager, shared that this represents the fourth factory in Coahuila territory.

“Coahuila is a place that is distinguished by its qualified workforce; In addition, it guarantees the best conditions for companies to establish themselves and carry out their operations without any problem”, he added.

Finally, Hannah McMahon, director of human resources for Marelli in North America, thanked the authorities for their support in achieving the installation and consolidation of the project.
