The company Noah Itech laid the first stone of the first plant in Mexico with an investment of 100 million dollars , to produce automation equipment. The company of Chinese origin will generate 100 highly specialized jobs. The new factory will be located in the VYNMSA industrial park , in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.

“We firmly believe that this land is the right place to carry out our development, because Nuevo León has enormous growth potential due to its incomparable visionary spirit that characterizes it and is what has made this state a strong, communicated and hospitable state. for foreign investment. From here we are going to work together with the whole world on growth projects in Nuevo León”, mentioned Fang Te Chou, vice president of Noah Itech Mexico.

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of the Economy , commented that this plant is interesting and different from those that have arrived in the past, "it is an important investment, of 100 million dollars, with the creation of 100 jobs of high added value, since the The company is dedicated exclusively to automation and electronics, what they do are automated processes, so that they are more efficient and productive”.

He added that in this plant there will be more than 100 engineers to create a Research and Development Center.

“We are very happy to start the year with this plant, because it is a high-tech investment, and they are going to provide high-level employment. What they are going to manufacture is for export and they are ready to start in May of this year”, he stressed.

Among his clients are: Quanta Computer, GM, companies like Google and Facebook, and in the part of electromobility they are working with many clients, he said.

For his part, Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, governor of Nuevo León , stressed that the state maintains the tendency to announce the arrival or expansion of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) every week.

“This announcement serves me for three reasons: one, to confirm that they invested in the best state, second, we are committed to carrying out all the necessary public works to have the best infrastructure, and third, to not stop showing off Nuevo León to the whole world ”, stressed the state president.

In his opinion, FDI arrives because the state knows how to sell the advantages of settling in Nuevo León: in addition to its proximity to the United States, and the phenomenon of nearshoring or relocating companies near their main clients, having human capital of first level.

The governor explained that the municipality of Santa Catarina is part of the Saltillo-Monterrey corridor, which is consolidated to quickly export to the United States.

"By settling in this plant, the local government is committed to improving the peripheral, the bypass to Laredo and having alternative routes to get there quickly," said Samuel García.

Advantages and incentives in Nuevo León

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of Economy, mentioned that investments come to Nuevo León due to its infrastructure and human capital.

"We are excited to start 2023 with this announcement, it means that not only the manufacturing sector finds in Nuevo León the best conditions to locate, one of them and the most important, is the most prepared human capital in the country," added the state official.

It should be noted that each year 15,000 engineers and scientists graduate from the entity, as well as 20,000 technicians from local universities.

Regarding the incentives offered by the state, Iván Rivas Rodríguez explained that they are economic and non-economic; for example, "we help them manage all their municipal and state permits, and we also offer training."

The incentives on the Payroll Tax (ISN) depend on a formula that has to do with investment, employment, national content, it is a percentage.

In addition, for exporting through the Colombia Bridge, they will be given a stimulus so that toll fees are cheaper.
