In the first quarter of 2021, the manufacturing industry of Nuevo León generated job opportunities, being the highest since it has been registered.

According to statistics from the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), during the months of January, February and March, 19,832 jobs were created in the state , a figure higher than the 8,548 positions that were presented in 2020 for the same period.

In addition, the Chamber of the Transformation Industry of Nuevo León (Caintra) announced that the results of the first months of this year exceed those presented in the period after the mortgage crisis, when from January to March 2010, 16,911 jobs were recovered This means that manufacturing surpassed the records of the previous crisis.

The employment figures show the recovery of the entity's manufacturing. For this reason, Caintra maintains the call to the authorities to promote the best possible economic environment for Nuevo León entrepreneurs, mainly micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Likewise, they will continue working to maintain the growth rate of the sector they represent, as well as supporting companies to generate more and better jobs.
