NYX México Plastics confirmed that it will invest 25 million dollars for the creation of a new plant  in the Davisa Industrial Park in Arteaga, Coahuila.

With this new project, the company dedicated to creating plastic interiors for automotive parts will generate around 1,200 direct jobs .

The injection of US capital will be for the company to produce auto parts for the Tesla plant , which will be located in Texas, and for General Motors in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, to manufacture electric vehicles.

Genaro de la Cruz Antú, NYX plant manager, commented that the company is currently working in San Luis Potosí and now they will have the opportunity to start a new plant in the north of the country.

Meanwhile, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of the state, was in charge of publicizing this investment, which is projected to start operations in November of this 2021.

"We are very pleased that you are able to strengthen our Automotive Cluster , today you support the consolidation of this Cluster, of which we are proud and that is our economic strength," he said.

During the press conference, the state president explained that Coahuila ranks second in the country in exports, and first in the manufacture of transportation equipment, which is why it stands out by boosting competitiveness in the five regions so that investments expand throughout the entity.

It also reported that in four years there have been 119 investment projects for an amount of 7.8 billion dollars, which have generated 49,500 jobs.

"This year alone, 22 investment projects have been completed with an amount of 3,877 million dollars," he announced.

Present at the press conference were: Genaro de la Cruz Antu, NYX Plant Manager; Humberto Alvarado Ramos, Launch Manager; Alexandra Ortiz Flores, Human Resources manager; Víctor Mohamar Servín, president of DAVISA and Sofía T. Delgadillo Díaz, general director of Promotion and Investment.
