Perennials and Sutherland announced the expansion of its plant in Mexico, where it will double its operating space capacity, in addition to generating 100 new jobs.

Perennials Textiles México (PTM) announced that full operations are projected to begin in the first quarter of 2022,  in which they will be focusing on the production of the company's 100% solution-dyed acrylic yarn.

This factory, located in San Luis Potosí, has state-of-the-art facilities and the expansion consists of doubling the current capacity of 12,000 square meters , where currently around 360 employees work .

In Mexico, they offer safe and sustainable practices, where the looms are electronically controlled and can produce thousands of yards of fabric per month. In addition, the increase in space is to meet the high demand for products.

Miguel Maciel, general manager of PTM, commented that this new investment is called the Megalodon Project , due to its impact on creating a more sustainable future, and they are proud that the Company continues to grow in the region, providing direct benefits to the entire region. community.

In addition, the expansion demonstrates Perennials' goal of being able to supply the national and international markets with the highest quality acrylic performance textiles, which are available to commerce as well as to retail partners.
