VUHL creates super sports vehicle made in Mexico

Nuevo León

By Elenne Castro

VUHL Automotive  unveiled a unique car that was created to order and with a guided customization process with Carlos Muñoz, businessman from Monterrey, Nuevo León.

The construction of the VUHL 05 model was inspired by the Mexican rose of the architect Luis Barragán and was combined with the characteristics of modern motorsport, thus creating a unique tone called Rosa Mexicano Flourescente , which was assigned exclusively to this unit and It will not be used for future cars.

The paint pattern combines the fluorescent color with a daytona gray, in addition to being tinted with exposed carbon fiber pieces both in a matte finish on the interior and sides of the car.

It has various details such as brake calipers in special color, contrasting interior seams, the aerodynamic kit with spoiler, splitters and flat floor; and the carbon fiber wheels complement the configuration of the car with a clear reference to motor sport, without losing the practicality of its use on the street at any time.

During a private event at Autódromo Monterrey , the VUHL 05 model set a lap time of 01:16:18 and was driven by Rodrigo Echeverría, VUHL Automotive development driver , being the fastest of the day and setting a new record for street cars.

This was a source of pride for the Mexican automotive company, since this unit is an ultralight supercar approved for use on the street, characterized by the extensive use of carbon fiber and manufacturing with processes and materials typical of the aerospace industry .

Powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the car generates 360 horsepower and is capable of reaching 100 km / h from zero in just 3.0 seconds thanks to the lightness of its construction with a total weight of 675 kg.

The virtually personalized possibility makes the VUHL 05 a desirable vehicle among collectors looking to reflect their identity through unconventional configurations for their cars.
