Watlow installs fourth production plant in Querétaro; invests 420 million pesos

Watlow Mexico inaugurated its fourth production plant in Querétaro, with which it expands its production line of electric heaters and sensors in the state .

The project of the American company includes administrative offices to provide service, from Querétaro, to its global clients; in which they invested 420 million pesos , which will generate more than 1,315 direct jobs for the people of Queretaro.

Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development, stressed that this expansion represents the endorsement of the trust that Watlow has placed in Querétaro, since it not only expands its production line, but also opens a shared services office that will support overall to this organization.

Peter Desloge, honorary CEO of Watlow Mexico , recognized the contribution and workforce from Querétaro in the success of the company, which, since its arrival in the state in 1994, has contributed to making Watlow the leading company in thermal-industrial technology in the world. 

He shared that in the four plants in Querétaro they employ more than 2,500 collaborators . In this framework, he announced that to support the growth of the firm's working community they will donate 300,000 dollars, which will be used to grant scholarships to Queretaro families.

In turn, Rob Gilmore, CEO of Watlow Mexico plant Querétaro, confirmed that he is proud of the growth that the firm has achieved in the entity; and during the last five years they have invested more than 30 million dollars for the development of products and new equipment for production processes . In addition, they have opted for the training of more than 650 engineers, technicians and professionals from the Queretaro community.

The event was attended by the municipal president of El Marqués, Enrique Vega Carriles; the Secretary of Labor, Liliana San Martín Castillo; the general secretary of the CTM in the state, José Cruz Araujo Ávila; directors, administrative personnel and collaborators of the company.
