In order to join the real estate proposal of the Bajío area, WorldPort Industrial Park began its construction in San José Iturbide. It will offer flexibility for companies that wish to install their operating plants in this space, with services for the sale of industrial lots, build-to-suit projects and the leasing of industrial buildings.

Francisco de la Rosa Carpizo, president of the developer HABI, in charge of the project, announced that once the clean and safe parks standard was met, they added the construction of industrial parks to their portfolio of real estate services , this being the first project of this type.

This park is located specifically at kilometer 22 of the San Miguel de Allende – Doctor Mora highway, an initial investment of 15 million dollars was allocated, in an area of 60 hectares and they intend to generate around 5,000 direct jobs.

"With this we want to pay for competitiveness and take advantage of Guanajuato's connectivity with the main highways and states with great industrial development, such as Querétaro and San Luis Potosí," he commented.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

Among the characteristics of the project, the supply of electrical energy stands out, since in eight months it will have a capacity of 20 megawatts available. The energy will be distributed through two medium voltage circuits, which will allow electrical redundancy.

“In the country we have a serious energy supply problem ; however, the WorldPort guarantees this resource for all companies that are about to settle. The National Center for Energy Control (Cenace), through the Program for the Development of the National Electric System, contemplates a significant growth of infrastructure in the area in the coming years,” he said.

The construction of the property will be carried out in accordance with the Mexican Standard NMX R 046 2005, so it will have water supply through wells, a water treatment plant, fiber optics, natural gas, among other specifications.

In addition, you will have safe access to both lanes of Highway 57 and its 1.7 kilometer frontage with the Kansas City Southern de México railway.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF GUANAJUATO

Francisco de la Rosa Carpizo said that the strategic location is essential to guarantee the success of this development, which is why they bet on the arrival of companies from various sectors such as automotive, agro-industrial, aerospace and even ceramics.

In this sense, Mauricio Usabiaga, secretary of Sustainable Economic Development of the state of Guanajuato, said that the entity is in the so-called triangle of progress, made up of the cities of Guadalajara, Mexico and Monterrey, where more than 75% is produced. of the national Gross Domestic Product.
