The ZF Chihuahua plant - dedicated to manufacturing airbags - received the VQE award from its customer Volvo .

Josué Galván, manager of the Volvo Mexico quality system, attended the facilities to present the award. This award was sent directly from Volvo's corporate headquarters in Sweden, recognition of quality excellence.

The recognition was received by representatives of the teams that were in charge of the launch of this product.

The ceremony was attended by operators and production leaders, members of the quality area, representatives of the program administration and plant management.

Additionally, in a virtual meeting, other members of the bag and module plant team were present and contributed to the success of this program.

For the company, this recognition is particularly important, since it is the first time that Volvo has given it to a Latin American supplier.

“The VQE Award recognizes the quality and work of the ZF Chihuahua team; with this we reiterate our commitment to our customers to make quality products: products that save lives ”, shared Millete Vargas, the company's communication manager.
